I have finally bought one! So far, I have made vanilla and coffee. LUSH! I want to start experimenting with crazy flavours now :D

I really want to get back into drawing and sketching - I have some supplies from Amazon so hopefully during the summer holidays I will be able to really get back into it!

Second attempt at macaroons...

These went a lot better! They are definitely not pretty (yet!) But this time they actually turned out looking like little macaroons - with feet!

I am very proud of them! :)

Cooking for friends...

This evening I am cooking for some ladies from work. I don't really tend to 'cook' for others, I mainly bake so I am a little nervous!

I am cooking chicken korma and creme brulee.

The creme brulees have just come out of the oven - I am a little nervous as they are still quite wobbly but I am assured by blogs etc that this is normal so fingers crossed! :)

Birthday Cakes

Baked a victoria sponge and a chocolate cake for a birthday at work.

I was told by one lady that it was the 'best Victoria sponge she'd ever tasted.' I'm rather proud! :D

Marshmallows

Inspired by a lady who makes all sorts of flavours (cherry coke and maple bacon anyone?) I wanted to have a go. These are just plain vanilla to start with :)

Macaroons

So here's what they looked like when they emerged from the oven. They taste pretty good but the mixture was definitely too thin!

Macaroons...

I have wanted to try making these for a long time. They are such delicate little treats. I definitely did not do it right... I think I under whisked the eggs as the mixture was too runny at the end and just ran everywhere.

Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

So it turns out Asda don't see flat bottom cornets so I didn't get to make them in the cornets but I still think they look pretty awesome! Rob did the sprinkles and flakes :)

Cross Stitching Threads...

I have spent over an hour sorting out my threads. I am really bad at keeping them organised - mainly because I'm not sure how to really!

Being Creative...

I throughly enjoy being creative, my classroon often receives the most of this via displays, wall hangings and drawing on the windows! But I am trying to extend this into baking and bits for the home. :) I find it fun and get a big sense of achievement out of it :)

My Cross Stitching so far...

One of the first things I stitched, I used this to create a 'Thank You' card. 

I love how this turned out, and how quick it was to stitch! I did similar with some stitched Christmas style jumpers.

I stitched this to mark my partner and I moving into our first home together...

... and was so excited to see it in print! :)

Badge... the badge bases were not as good at holding the aida on as I'd like so I had to glue gun it on!
